Taqhuamenon Falls

Located approximately 55 minutes from the resort. The Upper and Lower Taqhuamenon Falls are a must see! This state park offers plenty of hiking trails and unforgettable views! There are also a restaurant and brewery that are open year-round!

Grand Marais

Grand Marais is a rural town right on Lake Superior. It's has multiple different restaurants, trails for hiking, and a beautiful view of Lake Superior at the Log Slide Overlook! If you're up to it, you can hike down the 300ft sand dune, it takes only minutes to get down but often takes much longer to make it back up! It's about an hour trip north of the resort!

Pictured Rocks

The beautiful views of the sandstone cliffs on Lake Superior will be ones that you will never forget! Whether your're hiking the trails or doing the Picture Rock Cruises, you will have a great adventure!

Kitch-iti-kipi

Michigan's largest freshwater spring is an easy 46 mile car ride from the resort. Jump on the self-operated raft and look into the beautiful, crystal clear waters to see fish,  ancient tree trunks, and the white sandy bottom 40 feet below!

GarLyn Zoo Wildlife Park

GarLynn Zoo is a local wildlife park that is open May 1-October 31st! It's the perfect place to enjoy incredible animals and it's fun for the whole family! This zoo is less than a 30 minute frive from the resort!

Mackinac Island

The Island, where the only Uber you will find might be the name of a horse. This historical island has no cars, only horse and buggy and bicycles! Ranking as a Top 10 Island by TripAdvisor and USA Today, it is a must-see when visiting the Upper Peninsula!
